Aaron Satchell
Aaron is a Director of APLAS Group Pty Ltd and is responsible for the provision of their technical QS services and cost planning advice.
Aaron has a Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) and has over 17 years’ experience in the building and construction industry, working on a variety of project types delivered through a range of procurement methods, including residential, health, civic / entertainment, aged care, commercial, retail and infrastructure.
Prior to the commencement of his current position in 2016, Aaron worked for an international Professional Quantity Surveying firm for over 13 years. Aaron was an Associate and lead Quantity Surveyor, responsible for the operations and management of a team of Quantity Surveyors to achieve a variety of service deliverables on a wide range of project types both on a local and national scale.
Aaron has worked closely with clients in both the private and public sectors and seeks to align a professional service delivery and strong project outcomes with a personalised approach offering professional and direct communication and advice to his clients.
Laura Satchell
Laura is the General Manager of APLAS Group Pty Ltd and is responsible for all office operations incl Marketing, HR, Accounts and Project Management of our QS services and cost planning.
Laura has a Bachlelor of SocSc and a Masters of Business (MBA) from the University of Newcastle.
Laura has over 15 years construction industry experience working for both Tier 1 Contractors and local residential and commercial construction companies in the role of contracts administration and general management.
Laura has managed teams in both marketing, project management, construction and property development.
Justin Maas
Justin is a Senior Quantity Surveyor of APLAS Group Pty Ltd providing project advice, measurement and take-off of quantities associated with parts of our deliverables, estimating, cost planning and attendance at project meetings.
Justin has a Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) from the University of Newcastle and has had over 15-years’ experience in the commercial and residential construction industries.
Over the course of Justin’s career, he has fulfilled various roles including Project Management, Contracts Administrator, Chief Estimator and Quantity Surveyor. Justin’s variety of project experience on both the Contractor side delivering projects and Client-side consultation, offers a practical understanding of project delivery, construction costs and stakeholder requirements, ensures APLAS Group’s advice and services are delivered above expectations.
Julie Hodsdon
Julie is a Senior Quantity Surveyor of APLAS Group Pty Ltd providing project advice, measurement and take-off of quantities associated with parts of our deliverables, estimating, cost planning and attendance at project meetings.
Julie has a Bachelor of Science BS, Quantity Surveying from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is a member of the AIQS.
Julie has had over 12-years’ experience in the commercial and residential construction industries and plays an integral role in the APLAS Group Team.
Zachary Campbell
Zac is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Cadet) of APLAS Group Pty Ltd and is commencing his career in Quantity Surveying. He is in his final year of his Construction Management degree at the University of Newcastle. Zac is a great addition to our team and we look forward to watching Zac grow.
Philip Satchell
Phil has over 30 years’ experience in the residential and commercial construction and property industries working for both building contractors, property groups, real estate agencies and property consultancies in the roles of sales managers, client manager, project administrator.
Phil facilitates the physical inspection of properties and projects for tax depreciation data collection purposes as well as general business development for Better Tax Depreciations and APLAS Quantity Surveyors.
